The Program

We are very pleased to introduce the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).  The EAP provides employees and loved ones with confidential consultation and referral services for a wide range of issues.

The EAP is designed to assist you with situations encountered in everyday life. Attempting to resolve a problem can sometimes be stressful and may cause anxiety. The EAP is a great resource now available to you and yours.

You are a part of a very special community.  The EAP is offered as an acknowledgement of your importance.

Why the Employee Development Center?

We have chosen the Employee Development Center, an independent organization specializing in providing information, assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals to other services, should they be necessary.  It has been selected for its reputation of confidentiality, its high level of professionalism, and sensitivity to the diverse needs of our employees.

Why Are We Providing This Service?

We recognize that a persons overall well being is very important to their ability to contribute to a productive organization. We encourage you to utilize the EAP for something as simple as finding a summer camp for your child, or more difficult matters, such as planning for the care of an elderly parent. The staff at the Employee Development Center will help you understand and resolve problems affecting your life.

How to Reach the EAP and What About Confidentiality?

See the Contact Box to learn how to reach the Employee Development Center.

An appointment can be made as your schedule permits. In case of an emergency, counselors are available 24 hours a day via telephone. No one will know if you use the Employee Assistance Program unless you tell him or her. Participation is confidential. Neither the name of those who contacted the EAP or their dependants will be known.

What is the Cost?

There is no cost to you. The Employee Assistance Program is an added benefit for employees. If you, your spouse, partner, children, or someone close to you needs help, calling the EDC will assist all in resolving the matter.  Services provided beyond the EAP are the responsibility of the participant, in many cases covered by your insurance.
