Working Through Conflict with Tact and Skill
Course Description
Don't be caught off guard by the friction inevitable in any workplace. This course teaches techniques for dealing with and preventing conflicts. The emphasis is on resolving conflicts that arise from differing work styles and habits among co-workers. Videotapes, group discussion, and role-play will be included. In order to make the discussions as relevant as possible, participants are asked to e-mail descriptions of specific conflicts they would like to explore to wagner@columbia.edu by November 8th.
