At Columbia University, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff is our top priority. Columbia’s campus and its environs are safe and have a relatively low crime rate for an urban university. The University helps to keep the campus safe and secure, but a truly safe campus can be achieved only through the cooperation of all students, faculty, and staff.
